MAGGIE'S PRESENTATION

Our new language assistant, Maggie Kelly, was oficially introduced to all the students in the school last Wednesday. She prepared a presentation about her, her family, interests etc.

There was also a quiz about her presentation and all the people attending the event received a nice bracelet as a gift from her.

Queremos agradecer a Maggie lo bien que lo pasamos el miércoles y la oportunidad tan amena y divertida que nos dió de practicar nuestras estrategias de listening y speaking.

Sabremos de dónde es, cuántos años tiene, sus aficiones, intereses etc. y habrá más sorpresas.

And if you want to practice your English you can talk to her every Wednesday and Thursday at break time in room A110 at the English Club.

BACK FROM SCOTLAND

Welcome to the new school year 2010/2011. As usual we start the year and the English activities with the trip to Scotland the English Department organizes every year.

Este año 21 alumnos de nuestro centro, acompañados por las profesoras Amelia Ortega y Olga Álvaro, volvieron a repetir la experiencia del intercambio con el centro escocés "Dollar Academy" situado en la localidad de Dollar.

All of them came back delighted with the experience and looking forward to repeating it next year. They are also looking forward having their Scottish friends at home in Spain, which it is going to happen on October 20th when the Scots will arrive in Guadalajara.
