FILM OF THE MONTH: GREASE

California 1950s: Australian Sandy and local Danny fall in love at the beach, but when Sandy's family decides not to return to Australia and both teenagers meet surprisingly at the same secondary school, Danny has changed, he is a member of a greasers' gang (pandilla de engominados) and shows no interest in Sandy. Pero las apariencias engañan (appearances are deceitful) y Danny continúa secretamente enamorado de Sandy aunque se haga el duro delante de sus compañeros de pandilla e intentará conquistarla en un ambiente de baile y música rock.
Don't miss the opportunity to know or remember some of the most catchy tunes in the history of cinema. Come to see the film on :

HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION

These are the pictures of the Halloween celebration held at our school this morning. Our school assistant, Sophie, turned into a good witch who told us about the origin of this festivity and how she celebrates it at home. We even had the opportunity to see a picture of her when she was a little girl dressed up like a vampire.
There was also a contest and lots of horrific sweet prizes as bloody fingers, skulls, etc. for the winners.  Some students brought scary masks and they got  prizes too.
In a nutshell, all of us learnt more things about Halloween and had some fun!!!
And now one question: Can you remember any of the Halloween characters Sophie mentioned ? If you write them below as a comment, you will have another little surprise.
