FILM OF THE MONTH: THE GOONIES

An old treasure map found by a group of pre-teenagers is going to lead them to live a thrilling adventure in which they are going to meet a tender deformed monster called Sloth. Esta monstruosa y a la vez dulce criatura es uno de los hermanos de una peligrosa banda de atracadores, los Fratelli. The Goonies will have to face them in their search of the pirate One-Eyed Willie's treasure. Lots of adventures are waiting for them and for you! ¡no os perdáis la película y viviréis trepidantes aventuras con los Goonies!

QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK: FIRST WEEK

The Questions of the Week , the most traditional English contest at Luis de Lucena School is back again.

Remember: It is a four-week contest in which 10 general knowledge questions are presented every Monday. Those students who want to take part in it must answer the questions and put them inside an urn before Friday.

Las preguntas se colgarán en el tablón de anuncios The English Corner, cerca del cual también se colocará la urna, o os las podéis descargar en esta dirección web: http://perso.wanadoo.es/fyq/.

The contest starts on Monday February 20th, that day the questions will be posted and you must put the answers into the urn before  Friday 24th February!!!

¡No lo olvidéis! El próximo lunes 20 de Febrero se colgarán las preguntas de la primera semana y deberéis entregar las respuestas antes del viernes 24.

CINECLUB: CHARIOTS OF FIRE

Next month we will have the opportunity to see an extraordinary film which obtained 4 Oscar awards in 1982  and which was nominated for 7.

La película tiene temática deportiva y por eso ha sido seleccionada por el Departamento de Educación Física para ser proyectada en nuestro cineclub.

Yolanda Pérez, the chief of the PE Department is going to  present the film and it's sure we will learn a lot of interesting things about the film with her.

Por eso, no os la perdáis os esperamos el 2 de FEBRERO  a las 5 de la tarde en A027.
